Well, as I've said, maybe if you start doing self-employeed things like babysitting and what-not they can take you more seriously if you can manage to do that and school too. You need to really bust your a** in your school work; try your hardest to bring home honor roll grades and impress them.



Denying you a job, espeically now is really going to hurt you. What happens once you get out of school? You won't have ANY work experience whatsoever and it can be a struggle getting used to a job and college (if you plan to attend). In this case, you CAN be a rebellious teenager and get a job.

If all else fails, you could just skip lunch at school and save up some extra money that way. I suppose in your case you'll have to be a penny pincher to make ends meet here. Have your girlfriend do the same too.



Sorry if I'm being nosy here, but why exactly is getting a job forbidden in your household? Is it religious reasons or something else?

Yeah, with any relationship pretty much, there will be someone to jump the gun saying you're a moron or something, especially one like this. I guess some would just have to experience an OL relationship to understand. I wish the best of luck to you, lol.

Lol, sadly people can be predjudice to stuff like this. But I guess that happens to anything relatively new. I know how many people can believe that "OMG she could be a 50 year old man irl" because of the whole thing with Dateline NBC and their attempts to catch online predators. It just takes one rotten apple to make people avoid a basket of perfectly good apples.
