((I don't want to give away what Azul can do or what he's trying to do but for the sake of this battle let's say his starter is.... in the early nineties late eighties.))

Azul nodded and gulped again. He threw a Poke ball into the air and it burst open in a flash of white light. The white light aimed toward the ground and when it dissipated a Weavile appeared. The Weavile turned around to look at Azul and Azul with a serious face nodded slowly. Weavile nodded back to him and the dark type turned around to face her in a battle ready position. "Now for you, Onyx!" he said with a happy tone.

((Eh... I say Champions shouldn't need to be a 'set level'. They are champions damn it! Ash's Pikachu will never makes sense to me anyway. XP Pretty much but his starter will like faint one of hers and almost faint another. How about that? So it won't be boring.))

Azul walked up to his side of the field and Onyx did as well. Azul but his hands on all six of his Poke balls and he lowered his head. One could see his lips moving. Azul smiled, frowned and than smiled again but his second smile was somewhat strange. He lifted his head back up and took a ball from his belt. "I hope I don't make a fool of myself! It'll be a six on six, yeah!" Azul gripped the ball in his hand and he gulped trying to loook as nervous as possible to her.

((Amethyst is Amatista in Spanish. It sounds like a name a girl would have.))

((Well for the games it's always a set level and they do get stronger like in soulsilver for example. Lance strongest Lvl 50, second battle, Lvl 75. In the anime I have barley heard of them talking about levels. I mean look at Ash's Pikachu. It's somehow strong in one region and when they go to a new region, Pikachu gets weak again. Of which I don't understand. XP For the battle let's make it how the battle was between Cynthia and Paul in the anime. All of Azul's Pokemon will pretty much suck except his starter which will survive somewhat. That alright with you?))

Azul nodded and bowed again. "My name is Azul O... I mean Plata. Azul Plata is my name." He lifted his back up and looked around for a clear space to battle. "How about down there!?" he said pointing down to the lowst part of the rock face. It was big enough for a battle to ensue and not many people were around it so they didn't have to tell everyone to clear the battlefield.

((By the way. Plata means Platinum in Spanish. I think this RP is helping you in learning something, huh? : D))

Azul was trying to catch his breath. "Hold on a second." he said putting one finger in the air. He coughed a few times and then pounded his chest to talk better. He nodded and then turned to Onyx, giving her a bow. A bow that someone would give to royalty. "I came from some ways to battle you, miss." He stood up straight and looked straight into her eyes. "Who doesn't know about you. Your Onyx Hime! You known everywhere!" he said with glee. Azul looked up at a cliff and saw the entrance to the Cave of Origin. The place seemed to pull him to it but at the same time it pushed him away, as if he didn't want him to be anywhere close. Azul looked back at her and with another bow said: "If you wouldn't mind... may I ask you for a battle?"

Azul looked around Sootopolis. Looking at the white rock which was rare to him. He touched it and it felt incredibly smooth but when he continued to rub it he reeled back his hand quickly from a sharp pain. Azul frowned and stared at the rock with disdain. He turned around and saw Onyx standing not too far from where he was standing. He put on a big smile and ran over to her waving an arm in the air. "Miss Onyx! Miss Onyx!" he said picking up speed so he wouldn't lose sight of her.

((Yes yes I know. Azul is my other OC. Don't want to say too much about him because I feel like it will give away any surprises. Go ahead and bring your OC in! It'll make it more fun. Oh and Azul is Spanish for Blue. :3 ))

After some time of trying to get information on where Onyx could be, he was finally pointed to Sootopolis City. He later learned that the only way to get to Sootopolis was through the air or through underwater. Seeing that he had no flying types he had to pay to get a submarine ride to get to Sootopolis. As Azul looked through the window of the submarine he saw all sorts of water type Pokemon, Gorebyess, Huntail, Chinchou, Lantern, Clamperl, all kinds of them. "We will be arriving to Sootopolis shortly." Azul smiled and could not wait to get to Sootopolis.

Once he arrived in the city, he looked around and even though he knew how Onyx looked, he wasn't sure where she was so he decided to sight see somewhat and by chance he might find her.

I'm going to go off from Rojo, Verde and Steven for a bit and use my other OC but they'll come back soon.))

High above Onyx and Rayquaza was Rojo and Verde. They were still riding on Salamence and Typhlosion was also there. "You sure you want to go stalker on her?" Verde said. She was laying on her stomach and she was kicking her feet. She used her arms as a pillow. "I'm not going stalker. Just watching out." Rojo said. Rojo touched the artifact again and it glowed blue from sadness. The artifact also told what Arceus was gonig through at the time and it changed colors depending on his emotion. ((Like a mood ring yes.)) Obviously, Arceus was saddened. He probably regrets acting so negatively toward Onyx. Because of 'him' Arceus has a lot of trouble trusting humans, even though Ash showed him better. He wants to be a good God, but it's hard to do that when you are constantly being sought after. Rojo sighed and laid down next to Verde but he laid on his back. "Salamence. Let's go to Oldale for now. We'll find Onyx later." Salamence nodded and flew off to Rojo and Verde's hometown.

Next Morning:

A boy who went by the name Azul, traveled was walking through Hoenn, mostly just to sight see. "Ah! What a glorious day! It seems that nothing can ruin today!" Azul was from Oldale as well and was about one year older than Rojo and two years older than Verde. It wasn't sure if he knew them but he seemed to be a nice person, always having an upbeat attitude. His hair was black and his eyes were brown. His skin color was slightyl darker than that of Verde's. He was wearing blue jeans, and a dark gray shirt with a black coat on. He was looking for Onyx Hime, so he could challenge her to a battle.
