Pretty much out of the more popular female singers I think Rihanna sounds a lot better then most of them, not to mention looks better. I think she's prettier then Gaga anyway by far. >^>

Lol but so I heard a few moments of 'poker face' because I've heard people comments a bunch of stuff on it. I really don't care for it, but I randomly found a south park version on that forum. XD It sounds better.

We had a family stay here from oklahoma last spring/summer (like going into summer) and they were 'putting us in our place' as it seemed. I mean she was really... Overly strict. Her children are all in their early twenties (except for their youngest.) and she controls them like mindless drones. Her sons can't do much of anything, though she gives them more freedom then her daughter. She's really... Sexist and legalistic. It's really gross. I'm for being that in a sense, but she took it to the extreme. She never lets her daughter think that she's pretty, as she's always making comments to her to put her down, and stuff like that. She forces her to do things, and then doesn't let her get a job or move out until some man marries her (It might sound like a good idea but I mean she was REALLY pushing the limit to near abuse. This probably sounds wrong though. XD I'm for parents teaching their children values and protecting them but she's like overly so.) And she also isn't allowed to have an email, dispite being 21. The boys I think can, and they seem to have a lot more privleges then their sister. Though she thinks the eldest is 'falling away from God' because he's... Well... Living like a human? (I mean he's doing NORMAL things. Listening to music, etc. Nothing crazy, no drugs, etc.) She doesn't believe in any modern music, finds the guitar and other more modern instruments evil, tells women to wear skirts to their toes and have long hair, wear no make up, etc. (she has short hair too, LOL.) And she also seems to control her husband. It's really, really disgusting. She also couldn't really find anything to correct my parents on (I'm not perfect, I mean she I GUESS expected me to be some sort of evil demon or something that does drugs and stuff I guess. Just because my parents aren't sexist and legalistic.) and so then she had to invent things, not to mention dive into my mother's mind and bring up horrible, horrible things that happened to her as a child and older that she hadn't even told her about. She just picked up on it I guess and started to bug her to the point of almost mental breakdown.

I'm really, REALLY bitter towards them. I must sound like some rotten person the way I mention people but I guess when you do big things I can't forgive you immediately. And then on top of all that they also did their month's laundry at our house, nearly dried our well up, and charged the electric bill up to the point my parents nearly couldn't afford it and the only 'help' was 20 bucks from them. Normally that's more then enough, and it's way too much whenever a guest gives something, especially that 'big'. But that's with most guests. Ones that are polite and actually are grateful for staying and weren't jerks. My dad insisted to not take it to be kind but there wasn't a reason that he didn't want to besides to be even more hospitable. XD

And there I go on and on. Sorry. XD

But anyway she liked putting people 'in their place' while they stayed as well. There are tons of people I could also mention that did that. It's just really rotten how people are. And I especially don't like it when it's to someone I care about, like you. So if I ever visit you don't let me meet this 'wonderful' (sarcasm) person, yes? [img]http://public.tektek.org/img/emotes/tek.gif[/img] XD I'm gonna wanna knock her block off. XD I seriously find her really pathetic to put someone as nice and wonderful as you 'in your place'. She's just pushing her insecurities off on you, I'm sure..

If she's nice that's cool and all, but people should learn to hold their tongue. I'm sure you've done something and then adjusted yourself around them not to do it again to not offend, and I know I've done it. People just need consideration and if they can't hold back something that bother's another then they're not worth bothering with, hence why I'm not really around my 'adoptive grandparents' anymore. My 'adoptive grandmother' was really rude in that sense

No. Locking the door on her was good enough to put that douche in her place.
If she has to put you down that's just sad. There's nothing wrong with you and she can go shove her bs opinion up where the sun doesn't shine. Don't let what she said or anything bother you, though I know it's hard. I've had my share of that with about every single person I spend time around. Which is why I am very anti-social in the sense that I'm not one to just go up and start conversation.
