Such is life sometimes. We all are children at some point though, even if we are not disgusting abominations. I would probably be annoyed to death by my developing, adolescent self at this point in my life.

Eh. Hopefully it'll be better for the next group. Ours seems to have all the troubles. The distillation column also was a mess when we had it and now the other group on it was doing just fine using it.

School equipment. I don't own a bioreactor and oxygen probe! haha.

Yea, it's just irritating spending so much time on an experiment and having issues mostly due to equipment failure and poor technique that really we couldn't avoid. also, autoclaving things takes a long time.

Well, first off the oxygen probe for the bioreactor is busted. We spent the first 8 hour lab trying to calibrate it and get it to work. That failed.

The second problem was that we didn't grow any e coli and had to make entirely new medium outside of class and try and grow more before the next lab day. That took a few hours to do.

The third problem was that the thing had a ******** LINEAR GROWTH CURVE instead of an exponential one so we were also ******** on that part too. Whee.

If you understood any of that YOU ARE A NERD and that is a good thing.

Class periods... Haven't dealt with those in a while. I am only taking three classes this semester but they are doozies. Two don't take up much class time (only 4 hours a week each) but one of them has mounds of difficult homework, and the other one is an 8 hour lab that also has mounds of paperwork to do after the experiments are completed. I have a report due next week on an experiment that went all kinds of wrong, that's gonna be fun.

ha, yea, good point. I still had enough time last night to cook dinner and go to two parties. But I needed that. The rest of this week is going to be hell.

honestly if I knew, I'd use it offline to find someone who I could touch, kiss, and be with.

Glad I could help. I'm not just another troll, surprisingly enough, I do have some friends here. And if someone showered you with attention in a way that wasn't annoying, would you turn them away? The internet makes it easy to turn it on and off (not that I generally "turn off" people at whim, it's just that sometimes I need time away from this computerbox.), and I really do enjoy the back and forth sometimes.

haha. The ones in the picture or the ones in the comment boxes? And it's difficult meeting women when you spend most of your time in class and the rest of your time studying. Gaia's (and a lot of the internet) like social fast food. Quick, easy, filling, and cheap. I've been trying to keep up a better diet.

It's a poor decision, yes. Sometimes you're desperate enough to try and you have to learn the hard way that it is a poor decision.

What? No, it's actually tied to how I used to present myself, and then to a relationship I had with someone on here that ended in pretty much the worst ways possible. Thanks for prying.

"it's a long story" also means "it's a private matter"
