   My earliest memories start from the age of two, those were happy times. I remember we lived in an appartment, second story, turn to the left and that was us; my uncle Pat lived across the hall from us. I can remember going to his apartment everyday to play. He had a rabbit hidden in his closet that I would play with all day until it was time to go home for supper.


   I loved watching my mother cook and serve dinner. I remember going to the stove front next to her, grabbing onto the stoves bar pulling myself up onto my tippie-toes trying to see the top; at that time I was so little I couldn't even see the top, no matter how high I managed to get myself.


    When we moved from that place, My mother, younger brother, and I, we moved in with man. I recall him not being a very good man. There was a day that came when him and my mother were fighting, and being a two year old child I ried out for my mother and her saftey. I remember the man getting fed up with my crying fer her, he grabbed onto my shoulders, and shook me vigorously. From this day on I don't remember what happened until two years after that.


    I remember being at my grandma's house. I can't recall if my mother had just left me there, all I can remember is my grandma Lila, my aunt Carol, and my aunt Teresa. I loved my aunt Carol most, back then her and my grandma were the closest thing to a mother I had. My aunt Carol would play with me all day, we would make cookies, and she always made sure my younger brother Brandon were taken care of. 


    My brother and I had to share a room, but we didn't mind. All of the rooms were all close together, Brandon and I were at the end of the hall, then it was my aunt Carol, my grandma and grandpa, and then my aunt Teresa. Like most children, my brother and I would stay up whispering and playing with eachother, at that age you don't know how to be quiet. My grandma would be yelling at us all night to, 'be quiet and go to bed'.


     I loved being at my grandmas, she had these flowers that would grow all over her yard, they were purple and built up like pyramids , butterfly bush, I didn't know what they were called then, they were ugly, I loved them. My grandma took me one day to the store, to by me a baby. She told me to pick out any baby I wanted, and when I chose I thought the baby I picked was the most beautiful baby, my grandma thought different, it picked one that was like a new born, it was bald, and stiff looking, ugly, but I wanted it.


    My grandma had some hens with little chicks, I remember Brandon and I going out to play, and seeing those baby chicks I wanted to hold one, like any young naive child would. I didn't know then how protective mother hens were, and when I caught one, as soon as that momma hen saw my little hands on that chick, it threw itself at me and attacked. I ran as fast as my little feet could take me down a trail that led away from my grandma's house, that hen still following, and not being able to escape the hen I turned and ran back the way I came from, screaming. Eventually my grandma came running out, she saw the hen scratching at me and came out with her broom; chasing that chicken beating it with that broom.


    The days flew by, another birthday went past, and then I met my  grandpa by blood and his wife. He came off a bus, thats what my brother and I called it then, it was a motor home. My brother and I played with him all day long. Children are fickle, the person who plays with them the most for a single day is their favorite person in the whole world till the next person to play with them comes along. My grandpa asked Brandon and I to spend the night with him in his big bus. We agreed, of course, that night brandon slept with his wife, I slept with grandpa; that was the first time I was molested.


    My grandpa told me,"you tell any one and you'll be in big trouble, you made me do this." I was so scared, and getting spankings from grandma were the worste thing ever as a child. I n
