Remember that gaping hole I told you about a while back? Well, my sources have shown a recent increase in activity. I'm not too sure what that means yet but I thought you might like to know. I've been attempting multiple tests since it's first discovery but most of my equipment either ends up malfunctioning or else just seems to disappear. I haven't been able to trace it's whereabouts again. Just -bleep- and it's off the map. From the few tests I have been able to complete the void seems to be composed of a highly unstable organic material- which is odd since space isn't exactly organic. I think you should let Cassie know possibly even evacute the area until we can ensure the area's safety. Now, you know normally I wouldn't get involved but you have to understand the significance of this thing's composition. If I were able to harness its power who knows what kind of scientific progress we would be able to make! I am personally going to give you a word of caution though, don't go charging in, poking at it wth sticks. I don't know if my equipment was destroyed or simply transported. If something were to happen to you, or anyone for that matter, I'm not sure what kind of help anyone would be able to give. I'd like to set up a select group to study this, with Cassie's permission of course. I'm hoping new people might be able to bring some new ideas with them, things I haven't tried. Anyways, I thought you might be the best one to talk to her given our... history.
