lol, it's country dancing for the most part. The only few that aren't really country are the Electric Slide and the Macarena...oh, and The Train..not the Train where you walk in a line with your hands on someone's hip, though...the other one....but maybe that's a line dance, too..I dunno

Me, too...they were completely pointless and you'd never use the information you had to cram in your head...I don't really remember any of it anymore, either...I can't tell you who created flag football...or how much a basketball weighs...or court lines...pointless information

It was "mandatory"...I call it "sexist." I never really cared for sports..but I would've taken basketball over stupid tests any day

We had a big class, so the girls and boys where separated. The guys got to do basketball or whatever during class except when we had to do the state fitness tests...The girls, on the other hand....we did flag football, basket ball, soccer, line dancing, volley ball..all that and on top of it, we had a written test on the history and details of each one...and in line dancing the test was to make our own line dance in addition to be tested on several line dances...It pissed me off so much that we had to study for gym while the guys didn't have to worry about a thing.

Exactly...I used to be the fasted kid in class when I was younger before I got sick. I was always so proud of that. I can barely do a fast walk, now..I loved running, and now i just glare at the track members when I see them running around town. I would love to be able to to all that again. I wish I had been exempt from gym, though...but I hadn't let anyone know I was sick, yet. I did get a waiver afterward, though...*never particularly enjoyed gym*...Line dancing....*shudder*...

*So understands that feeling* I wanna smack ppl who give me condescending looks or words. And they're always annoyed at you for hurting..Like we can control it...If I could, I wouldn't cause myself pain. It's keeping me from doing the things I enjoy or need to do.

Yeah, I completely get that..unfortunately it gets so bad sometimes you can't ignore it, though. Sometimes I'll get a rare day where it doesn't hurt nearly as much and I'll want to do something, usually a sunny day. My pain depends a lot on weather, too. Do you notice you hurt more before or during a storm? Anyway, this gives them grounds to believe I'm not in pain. I guess since I feel semi-ok once in a great while, it means I'm faking. I no longer talk to one person for that partly that reason.

Yeah *sigh*..and what's even worse is that Drs aren't the only ones who think that way..it's even the ppl around you. My mom has fibromialgia..so she gets it, and my dad believes us...but my friends give me such a hard time about it..not that I really talk to anyone anymore, but I know they don't believe me. Like it's impossible to have that much physical pain all the time or something.

Yeah..no matter what, they were never wrong and it's always your fault...like they know how you feel better than you do. Your Dr then sounds like my Dr now. Because of the back pain I can't exorcise very well. So, she says "Oh, it's not that bad, just do it more"...*twitches*...she's onna those healthy ppl that don't feel pain everywhere everyday. Those sorts of ppl don't understand how tiring it is to deal with and therefore think we're all wusses cuz we can't stand 'a little pain'.
