Team penning is... okay this is going to sound sooo stupid, but it's where you round up cows.

See, there is a big arena, and at the far end there's a herd of thirty cows with either a 0, 1, 2, 3 ect. all the way to 9. There are three of each number. In the lower rigth hand corner, there is a pen, but one side is open, like a little gate so the cows can get in, but there is enough room on the right and front sides to get in and out of easily. Now, you run up, on your horse of course, with your two other team mates, and you have to get all the cows of your number down and into your pen. But, you can't let too many cows cross a certain line, which is about 7-10 feet from the top, or your disqualified. Then, once you get all the cows in, or all the cows you can get, you have to put your horses head in the gate of the small pen and raise your hand. If your horse goes too far in, you're disqualified. And, if you take too long, you're disqualified.

You only get 90 seconds.

This was the first show of the season, and we almost got first, but since we didn't get any cows in during our last turn[you get three goes, but scoring is a whole nother thing I'm not going to get into right now], we got fourth. Last year we won a few times. Our best score was we got all three cows in in 36 seconds. This is my second year doing it.

I just got back from team penning about an hour ago, and my team almost won, except during the last go around, we didn't get any cows... stupid 6s...

You probably have no idea what I'm talking about.
