Yeah the oracle decks can be really cool. Some other themes, I've got a series of decks based on various Wiccan holidays [Samhain, Yule, Beltane, and a Mabon one is coming out in July], and others that are just based on plants, with two guide books to read [Dawn and Dusk] depending on what type of reading you're doing. So yeah, oracle decks can have really cool themes.

Yes precisely! I'd like to get a more full view on lore, myths, etc. It's really nice. C':

I recommend looking into them! They're really fun! C: They can go into all other sorts of themes; there's one I want to get based on like astrological stuff called.. I think something like the Star Codes Oracle; SUUUPER pretty art. There are also lots of like animal based oracle decks, and yeah, just lots of other really cool stuff. If you have any tarot decks, they can be great for clarifying cards and bringing out more in the readings! C:

Myths are ridiculously fun. I've been interested in them since I was a kid! > W<! Yeah same! That's part of why I got those ones; I want to learn more about them. I know a decent amount about Greek myths, some Celtic and Nordic stuff, and some English folklore too, but the books I picked out, I don't really know much at all, and I'd like to change that. 3nodding

Oracle decks are similar, they're also used for divination/spiritual purposes, but they don't follow the tradition of tarot cards. So they can be different sizes and shapes, they can have a wildly different amount of cards [the deck I got has 44, for example], they are often themed around specific things [the deck I got was based on themes around the Beltane holiday; I've also got another one based on various plants, and it's called the Seed and Sickle oracle deck which has 2 guide books that come with it, dawn and dusk, to read depending on the type of reading you're doing - like more action oriented or reflective], and yeh. Oracle decks have a MUCH wider variety of appearances, purposes, themes, etc, while tarot cards, for a full deck, require 78 cards - 22 trumps which all have basically the same name or names that are similar, and 4 suits ace through 10 and the court cards.
