I may be just 18 but I do. Reading a lot on MA has given me a large amount of knowledge on the stuff. Being a biochemistry major also helps since I have to know about the body's biology, and chemistry. I also read up on a lot of science since I am a total geek and love science. All of that has helped me with martial arts in the end.lol. But watching lots of movies, shows, documentries and demos of martial arts helps a lot also since it teaches you what is possible and what is not. And over time you get the ability to take scenes a part and tell if the choreography for it is possible. Plus I watch a lot of videos that teach martial arts, since I don't have the money to go to academies. I also read a lot of maneuls on the different arts. And I have friends teach me what they know.

But I like the gaia forums since there are people on it that do know what they are talking about and are open minded. The dudes on myspace and facebook are not open minded and they are ignorant and arogant fools sadly.
