I have but one mule, who goes by the name of Robyn. I also corrected that bad spelling issue (I hope), and have trained myself to spell 'obviously' correctly. I don't understand why you continue to insist it's me. Our plight is not uncommon, although methods of dealing with it differ.



Balance will be hard to achieve. I reccomend chocolate! <3 It can and must be achieved, however.

Dwyn brought his legs up to his chest, and wrapped his arms around them. He wasn’t really sure what to say…

He didn’t want to tell Aaron how wrong he was for using her like that. He didn’t want to get into an argument…not tonight. He regretted questioning after this subject.

“So, how are girls, anyway?” He asked, laughing. A lighter conversation topic was desperately needed.

“Whoa, wait a second.” Dwyn said, turning to face Aaron with raised eyebrows. “Girlfriend?”

He was very confused at the moment. He had thought, well, known, that Aaron was gay, so what was all this about a girlfriend? As soon as he said it, he only half-heard the rest of what Aaron had said, because his mind was swimming with thoughts that distracted him.

So this is what it must have felt like for him, Dwyn thought. Yes, he had found someone when he was gone, and so did I…

He didn’t like it. Not at all. But he couldn’t do anything about it, so it was pointless to strike up an argument by saying, ‘but I thought you liked /me/!’ because it would only get turned around on himself.

I know that, but it's the concept of the whole thing. I know she wouldn't mind if I came along, but it doesn't stop me from thinking that I'd only get invited along because of you. Maybe if Anissa brought it up to tell me to come along, but if she did, you would have said that in the first place.

“No, it’s true.” Dwyn said, growing defensive. “Even if he hadn’t left, I would have ditched him for you. Don’t doubt something like this, please…” He sighed, and shook his head in dismay. It was probably a fruitless effort, to try and completely convince Aaron, but even if it helped a bit, he would be satisfied.



He was about to say something about how Aaron shouldn’t hide it, but he felt like it would be repeating himself again. “Was there anything /good/ about going to Texas?” He asked quietly, quite curious about it, sense all that he could hear about it was bad.

I think my mom would rather tell me about all the s**t going on in her life then listen to me ramble on about stuff in my life, so I just let her. Besides, she might not have many other people to tell. Her husband's away at work most of the time, anyway.
