Mhm. I why I would love to try and find a job real close to my home. Then I might have a chance of finding some people I could hang around with and at least make her happy.
*sticks tongue out* I almost feel like I should make people up, start having imaginary friends just to get her off my back.

Yeah. Also my high school wasn't very close to my house. So it wasn't like the kids I saw at school, I could go and walk to their houses after school and hang with them.

It would help more if I had some real people I could hang around with but I don't really. I never kept in close touch with the people from high school. Mostly cause I just didn't like them that much. I kinda just floated in the middle, being with whatever social circle I could worm my way in to for the day. Also, I just kinda find it weird, even if I did know how to reach any of them. You don't exactly just call someone you haven't seen in four years and say "hey do you wanna hang out?" I remember seeing a guy I used to ride the bus with I think 3 years after I graduated. He was like..married and had a kid.
And of course, I went to college out of state so I don't have anyone from there I could hang around with.

*chuckles* She ain't on anything. It would seriously help me if she understood the concept of internet friends but she doesn't. She doesn't get only knowing someone with who they present themselves to be through text and never seeing their face or hearing their voice, ever.

Yeah, and then I get the "why do it then?" When I was first looking at college she ones said, kinda off offhandedly that I should be an English major but when I actually showed interest in the program she wouldn't let me be an English major, saying that English majors don't get high paying jobs. And she knows I draw, I have seriously become quite good just from practice over the years. But she is, in no way going to allow me art classes, at least so long as she has to pay for them. If I want art classes then I have to pay for them myself. And, since I don't have a job, I am not getting art classes for a while. And there are other little things. Like one time in high school, I did take one art and craft class. We did this thing where you took a sheet of aluminum and traced a design on to it, embellished it and then coated it with india ink to highlight the low points. I made her a beautiful Celtic design thing for her birthday just because I could. Now she keeps saying that I should do more and sell them cause no one does things like that. I just wanted to get her a nice birthday gift and use my creativity.

Cause I actually have a sense of creativity and she doesn't. But anything I have tried doing she only says it is worth spending my time on if I am gonna be making money off it. Like I, because I was bored to death, played around and sorta created my own world second year of college and I started writing about it. Ever since she found the story draft all I keep hearing is "when are you gonna get that book published and make some money off it?"
