Eesh. My friend subs in the school system and has had to go in front of... it's not a tribunal, that's a military term I htink- you know, where they're deciding your FATE, because the boys in her class started fighting and I guess she didn't handle it right/quickly enough/etc.

Your mom sounds badass. Like, with teens and the violence nowadays that's gotta be stressful man. I mean you drive by the highschools now and they have goddamn metal detectors! O__o What are they taking in there that they need metal detectors?!

Dad's... whiny? XD We're taking him to a podiatrist like every week now to keep his feet troubles under control. And we're glad we are, they caught a new infection, and they prescribed special shoes for his feet that should help keep the sores/corns from forming on his feet. But did you know it takes like 8 weeks to make them?! O___o

Seriously. So glad your mom's doing well hun. Sending (what little) good karma I have your guys' way. Continuing to hope for the best!! Gambate!

That reminds me of my grandpa before he passed away. When he retired he was like... this sucks. I'm BORED. WTF do people DO WITH THEIR FREE TIEM! D< And thus went in part time. My friends dad quote on quote retired, and also does shifts... either you really like your job, and you'll be unhappy when you're away from it too long, or you're like them and ya know, the anti-couch potato syndrome kicks in. xd That's awesome that she's still so active! I'm glad. I hope she's still doing well, progress report? (How's your dad too?)

She probably wants the company/distraction since she's not feeling well (and she's seriously at work when she's in beginning stage of a new weird medication? Really?!) or that's what I'm guessing after disregard for something called 'visiting hours' and long calls whenever dads away. And hey, if it cheers her up that's a good thing ne? (The shoulder throwing out thing isn't a side effect of the medication is it, like weakness and whatnot? O.o I mean I would assume she'd be used to the weight... then again I still sprain my wrist picking up our 20 lb demon cat so...) But t sounds like she's doing pretty well overall? (I hope?)

And your dad has a what now?! O___o I'm suddenly reminded of that baby tumor from the second Hell Boy movie, and I feel bad for that. Is he okay? What caused it?! (And wow, your insurance company must really not like you guys.)

Hm... how often will she be getting it in the mail? It could be a preservation thing, kind of like my dads insulin- you know, keep in refrigerated or else/once it's opened from the vacuum seal it's good for maybe a month? Or it could be something to do with her immune system at this point, and they don't want anyone else coming in contact with something that could impact hers? Like, germs from your fingers and stuff? I know when we wrap dad's leg (ewwww btw) we have to wear those special hospital gloves to make sure there's no risk of anything getting on/in there. =/ Just safety precautions. Some of the precautions are just plain silly nowadays, and stem from a patient having done something they shouldn't of and a bad things happened, the hospital should have caught it apparently... you know, stuff like that. Still, better safe than sorry.

And my wolfie hugs are available for you whenever you wants them! *huggles huggles huggles* (Where is that infernal hug icon?!)
