Okay try collecting more fish today via your Daily Chances. Along the top of every page you'll see the words 'home' 'my gaia' 'shops' ect. if you click on each of those to the right, under your user name you'll see a little cart, click on that to get your daily chances, they give out free fish there. When you finish with that go to the game tab and look for a game called 'dumpster dive' you can collect from that 10 times a day, and there are usually a few free fish in there.

Any fish that is not a goldfish or a 'lite' fish will trigger booty grab for you (not all at once mind you, but it could be one or two fish.)

Tanks usually glow every 3-4 hours so it's pretty hard to miss all of your glows.

Kinda, they give you a glow window, when you should start between ___ time and ____ but to find out for sure most tank owners use other sites to get analyzer that lets them know 1 minute before their tank will go off. However to get them to work you need to refresh the page every minute or so in your 'glow window'.

It used to be, right now it's kinda hit or miss. It's a lot of work to spread you're tank around so lots of people are grabbing it.

If you are just starting out on Gaia, you should have some starter fish you can put in your tank to give it a try. Plus you can get free fish if you hit daily chance every day, and you can try dumpster dive 10 times a day for a chance at more free fish.

To make the most gold right now you're doing the right thing, concentrate on playing booty grab in peoples tanks till you build up some gold.
