It is, but my parents still won't let me go to Pride Parade, which totally sucks. I think they have this permnant idea in their head that if there's a big homo gathering somewhere, everyone is gonna end up having sex with each other or something similar to that. And they say I'M influenced by society/what I see on TV.

I'm glad I could help. I think you'll find out that being able to be proud of who you are, even if others don't approve can feel very empowering. ^__^

That would be so funny if he was! XD Of course, I'd be jealous that they visited him and not either of us.

My relatives don't even mention stuff like that to me anymore.

On the first Saturday of February we're throwing my aunt a suprise b-day party and I'mma wear my red plaid flannel shirt. I'm such an out and proud dyke XDD

He says it to me because I look and dress like a boy. = So I'm more comfortable that way. Big deal! That doesn't make me wanna be a dude.

I mean, come on. If I don't like the p***s, why would I want one of my own? XD

I'll usually go along with it, but lately he just won't stop no matter what I say.

I've had older friends tell me and I never believed it until it actually happened.

That has to be hard on your friend with the way his parents act. My dad is kinda homophobic, but he manages to put with me. Probably becuase I'm his daughter. He's getting on my last nerves though. Just because I look butch due to the fact that I have a guy's haircut and wear guy's clothes, I'd be a boy than a girl. He's always calling me his "other son" and refers to me as a boy. I keep telling him that I'm a not a boy, and I don't want to be a boy. He obviously doesn't listen and it totally sucks.

See? You have plenty of time to find love. I certainly never thought I was going to find love, or at least not this soon. Love will show up when you least expect it. I know everyone says that, but I think if you go out looking for love, than people might find you desperate. You know? Not that everyone would, though either.

Yeah, my aunt actually told my other aunt and my grandma (both rather conservatives). I found out my grandma cried when my aunt told her.
