he stated that if god exists, then there are three inevitable aspects:
1-god isall good
2-god is all knowing
3-god is all powerful

then he said that each aspect has a characteristic:

1-an all good being destroys evil to the best of its ability
2-an all knowing being knows the end from the beginning
3-an all powerful being does whatever it wills.

Then he goes on explaining the 3 types of evil
1) metaphorical evil- soon everything will be destroyed
2) natural evil- tragedies like tsunamis or hurricanes where many lives are lost
3) moral evil-people torturing animals, people killing people in wars, etc

He states that if evil exists, therefore god cannot exist

i went to my friends philosophy class yesturday and he was arguing against god, it was a pretty good argument.

no go ahead and continue, i always pull through somehow hahaha. ok heres a question which you may not want to answer because you might not find it interesting........but here goes:

How would you refute this argument? If there is evil then there has to be good, therefore evil cannot exist without good.
