infamy: notoriety gained from a negative incident or reputation. It's kind of like fame, but for bad things. But I was really riffing of a quote from history. (Don't they teach you girls anything in those schools?) when the Japanese bombed pearl harbour Teddy Roosevelt said that is would be "a date which will live in infamy", but over time, it's become well known by the words "a day that will live in infamy".



And there is no such word as famy.
