I watched the marching band competition. Isn't that what I said? I got to see a few people from camp, too, one of which was suffering from slight amnesia from falling off her podium and getting a concussion. I went with our colorguard instructor who is freakin bomb. We started heading back home around 11 and we're both like "I want some ******** Krispy Kreme." so we naved it on her phone and got us some doughnuts, haha.



And it doesn't matter how good /I/ do seeing as we're a team. We work as a team, we get scored as a team. If one person screws up, everyone screws up. Whatever, though. It's not like this whole going downhill thing is new.

So pretty much, today was amazing, despite having rehearsal this morning. I forgot how much fun it was so just watch shows and not have to stress about performing. Now, I love performing, but our band... isn't that great. Not since we lost our director. I'm really scared for our first competition next weekend. I have a feeling we will be at the bottom at every competition we go to. There's even a possibility that we may not make finals at one of our other competitions. That would be so disappointing.

BUT, whatev. Life goes on.

I'm going to a marching band competition. Not to compete, just to watch. I haven't done that in a while. It should be fun.
