Andromeda thought about it a moment. "You said you'd talk to your mother but, if that fails, we'll have to have a backup plan." The brunette looked around the hallway, making sure that they were truly alone there. "Maybe we should go to a more quiet place to do this?"

The young woman nodded her head. There was very few options that they had in this matter and, while she did not like the idea of trying to be reasonable with Queen Rubi, she understood the need for compromise. The man who shot daggers at Nathaniel received an equally scathing look from Andromeda. "He's doing the best he can in this situation."

"I thought so. Anyhow.." She turned and casually studied a few trinkets laying on Nathaniels desk. "I have given her my approval. You may see her anytime you wish. She has also been given better quarters..and she is no longer required to work." She turned back to her son, without a change in expression. "You can even marry her if you wish"

Andromeda was in a state of bewildered panic. How could this have happened? Quietly and wide eyed, she followed Maxwell out of the room. A strange, empty feeling engulfed her fully and a delicate hand was placed to her mouth. She felt like everything she ever had eaten in her entire life was going to come up on her.

"That... that was bust." she replied in a squeak of a voice when they were out of earshot of Spark's father "Oh, Nathaniel, what are we going to do now?"

Andromeda's eyes widened and she took in a sharp breath. What?! From the way Spark described him, as soon as the man thought she'd be happy, he'd end the engagement. This was just dreadful. With panic looming in her now blue eyes, she looked between everyone in the room with rapid movements. Everything was spinning again but for different reasons.
