That account error has happened to me, too. To fix it, you get a valid e-mail to use - not an expired or temporary one, log into it, log into your gaia account, go to the account notice, click "remove blocks" on the notice, change the e-mail address your account is attached to into the one you are on, then go over to the e-mail and use the activation e-mail that they have sent. Be sure to have the e-mail FIRST, or you will be blocked out! Orrrr, you can just ignore the thing.
