Have you looked into the Devine Comedy then? Lighting would have to have somekind of terrific back story to make up for how dull she is, she's not as bad as Desmond from Assassins Creed I guess but still alittle dull for my liking, the villians don't look too bad in 13, but still, nothing on that on Sephiroth, Ultimacia or even Kuja. I just think maybe Tetsuya ran thin of ideas, especially with characters like Sash or Snow (who just looks like a lazy convergence of Siefer and Wakka somehow xd ) And come on, the introduction of guns instead swords ect? That's really bent, magic is meant to be your range weapon surely, the only time a gun was alright was with Irvine because, well, he was basically a cow-boy with his hat xd

Gothic, emo, the difference? Bayonetta does look nice, but I prefer substance, D.Inferno is based on a very well written plot with a brilliant concept, my only issue with the game is actually the gameplay, but thats because its hack'n'slash, its gonna be simplistic and samey as every other hack'n'slash so average, but i think the story and the character will make it much better, plus seems like the ps3 edition is getting loads of extra junk haha. And Zidane was pretty bad, but at least he had character with his sayain type tail and resonably koolish hair, the only thing Lightning appears to have is a cape type thing, theres nothing unique about her, as graphics improve characters become more boring as they over humanise them in my opinion. I can't think of a single character that I'd particularly want a model of haha, the summons seem kool though, but thats like liking ffVII because you love Ramuh. I might buy the game for its looks and gameplay as I did like FFXII, but its very doubtful that there will be a Lightning model standing besides Cloud and Squall on my desk... Which makes it doubtful it will be that great as I think Final Fantasy is all about your interaction with the characters.

you like bayonetta? that says it all razz I think that looks like a girly/perv fest of a game, and its by the same people as devil may cry so says it all... Big massive emo game xd
And if you think the final fantasy xiii characters are good, wow. Your the first ive heard say that, most of who ive asked agreed that the game looks nice, the gameplay looks sweet as but the poor characters ruin it abit. Not Tetsuya's best work, I think hes finally ran out of ideas, I mean ffxii recycled characters from Final Fantasy tactics. They wouldn't be as awful if they wern't so much worse than that of Cloud and Squall, even Zidane is better than Lightning. And don't even try to defend Sash as a character talk2hand

ffxiii will suck because the characters suck, the game can be as good as it wants, the characters blow. And dantes inferno is based on a good plot so if done well will be very good, and the main character is way kooler than Kratos so razz

Took me 3 play throughs, should have been 2 but the beta Uplay corrupted my file haha
I gave it 9 because had minimal flaws and they threw in loads of junk no one moaned about not having on the first one, it was just a general massive improvement haha
