Yep I wish she had been alive when I was growing up. She sounded totally awesome and crazy as hell.

Well dear I need to go to bed and get me some z's. Got a long weekend in Tucson planned out. Sweet dreams when you head off to bed. smile

My mom tells me if grandma would have been alive when I was growing up I wouldn't have made adulthood. She and my grandpa were playing Bridge with my great aunt and uncle. I guess my great uncle brushed her foot or something. She accused him of trying to cheat and send signals to my grandpa. My great uncle told her she didn't know what she was talking about. Eventually it ended up him making the comment "Women belong in the kitchen bare foot and pregnant." Now I do understand this was like 1959 or something, but he did get what he deserved. She told him to stand right there and not move. Then she proceeded to go in to the dinning room and get a chair from the table. She plopped it down in front of him, climbed on it, and bunched him square in the mouth. She was 4' 11" he was 6' 2". When asked why he stayed, since he knew she was going to hit him, he responded "Cause it would have hurt more if I ran"

I've heard other wild stories like that all my life. Like when she was 18, her and my great aunt refused to leave London, so between 1940 and 42 my great aunt fired an AA gun while my grandma loaded it. They fracking shot nazis out of the damn sky FFS

She grew up with 9 boys and 1 other girl. And my uncle wonders why his little sister fights dirty rolleyes I would think it was a no brainer. Woman is 5' 2" the shortest of the boys is 5'10" she was out numbered 4 1/2 to 1 eek and could still kick their collective asses. I love my mom, she's not as crazy as grandma, but she is fracking awesome.

My step dad hit my mom in a fight once. Only once, cause yours truly went across the street while they was fighting and told my uncle. By the time my uncle and his 3 brother-in-laws got across the street my mom had already bloodied my step dad's lip and broke a window throwing a frozen ham at him eek My uncle explained that was why nobody fought my mother, she fights dirty

Wow even your uncle wanted the guy dead. He's lucky he didn't wind up in the Gulf somewhere half eaten by sharks, gators, or both

I can understand that one pretty good myself. I didn't kill my step dad either, but I wonder sometimes if my step daughter ever thinks about me dead lol
