I wouldn't know for sure, but I feel like those rituals are probably practiced still due to tradition rather than faith. I think it became mythology once Christianity and Catholicism began to dominate. Kind of makes you wonder if one day Christianity and Catholicism will become mythology. I can see it maybe happening, but not for quite some time.

Roman Catholicism has mythology in it? That I was not aware of.

But yeah, I don't know or care enough to vote and even if I did, I feel like my vote wouldn't really count that much.

One thing I've always wondered, about religion, is why some of it is labed as mythology when it really was religion to people at one time. Like Greek or Roman mythology, for instance. Those gods and goddesses were real to them back then. I mean, they built temples for them and had shrines and the likes. It's called mythology now, but who's to say that they don't really exist?
