I do know my s**t, somewhat.

But I'm more than happy to tell people about it rather than act all high and mighty because someone got their genres all mixed up, which is a common thing.

Headbangers Ball is a sad excuse for a Metal Show.

Cradle of Filth are Extreme Gothic Metal, there is NOTHING DM about them, Adema are Hard Rock/Nu Metal (along with Manson and Slipknot and Nu Metal isn't Metal.)

If you wanna get technical about LOG they're Groove/Metalcore, Trivium are Metalcore, as with As I Lay Dying.

Atreyu, Diecast, It Dies Tonight aren't even on there or considered Metal (let alone DM) because they're clearly more Hardcore than Metal (The two Genres that make up Metalcore)

Want real DM?

Try Cannibal Corpse, Morbid Angel, Behemoth, Decapitated, Deicide, Death, Suffocation and Vader.

Oh ok.

All of those bands apart from COF and Adema, are Metalcore/Hardcore.

But I can see how people get them confused with DM.
