Hi there~ Thanks for the avi compliment! I've been on Gaia for 2 years and have bought Gaia Cash and also was here before the bad inflation hit Gaia; so everything is a bit more expensive now, but most of my items came before the crazy inflation. Some of the items for my avi came from the Gold shops on here or are inexpensive, like the jewelry, ribbons, and skirts. smile
I will be honest and say it is kinda tough to build up gold for a good avatar, but there are ways. You can draw for gold in the Art Shops forum, you can go around the towns collecting bugs to sell on the market place, you can fish and sell the fish on the market place, you can play Booty Grab in the Aquarium forum for gold too. Also, check the daily chances; that gives you gold too! You just gotta keep building up gold, but the fastest way is probably selling your art on here for gold. :3
It took me A WHILE to get my Sailor Moon avi like this; I just had to keep messing around with it and sell some of my stuff to get the items I needed, but I hope you can make an awesome Sailor Scout avatar one day too! Goodluck~ heart
