Happens to me too at times. When I was reading the Harry Potter books - and when I even liked the character - I literally cried during Sirius's death. Not sobbing, but just the sniffly tearing up. Then I realized he was a jerk, became happy he died, and started rooting for Snape. =D

I've never stopped reading a book because of a character's death, though. I just get really into the story lines.

D= I know. I mean, at first, I didn't like him. But then he turned into this quirky smirking little fey guy that was crude at moments but amusing as hell.

He was almost adorable in that "protoytpe pervert" kind of way.

That's fine. D= A character I was just warming up to died in my book (damn you rules of plot!), so sappiness seems to be the theme today. *laughs*

Besides, I'm sure Camilla is worse with it. =P

Well, he's just a peach. =[ But, it is a dad's job to be all, "You're not good enough for my daughter, rawr, rawr".

My dad always told me I wasn't allowed to date until I was 30. XD But, he's an amiable ole bugger, too, so even if he disliked someone, he'd still be sweet to them. Weirdly enough.

Girl works at this shop, has worked there most of her life, and typical mistreatment. Kind of like a work camp, I guess you could say, but they make mechanical dragons there. Mix of science and fantasy, I'm guessing. Anyways, she's supposed to end up teaming up with a junkyard dragon - who is broken - and trying to escape the place from there.

It's amusing, since it feels like a roleplay. XD Cursing, girl gets her period in the second chapter, and lots of crudeness at points. It's amusing and is keeping my attention, unlike most books nowadays.
