Initially I meant of Sai.

But really of both.

Yah, it's a little bit confusing and odd.

When I first started watching I'd never thought of it that way.

But then a friend of mine apparently caught on to those little possible hints and showed me.

It's almost as if they want us to question the extent of their relationship, what with the kiss and little scenes like [x] and [x].

Actually, I'm starting to out grow that mentality.

Now that I've found my own--literally--best friend I understand it better.

This may sound absurd and weird, but when I'm with her I'm at ease and I am willing to do anything for her.

Hell, at one point she thought she might be in love with me, and I just thought to myself "I wouldn't mind playing along for her sake."

We are companions, we are rivals, we are sisters--it feels as if we somehow complete one anther and we strive to protect each other--both physically and emotionally.

(Sorry if I ranted DX)

Oh god.

I'd forgotten about that.

Cuz I honestly hated his guts then too.

But now that he shows more emotion I adore the boy.

Sai severs (at least in the anime) as the ultimate comic relief character.

The fansub I read never shows the back cover for some reason.

Well, it is directed by Hayato Date (no offense).

If it were Kishimoto he would've taken more pride in Naruto's character.

Naruto does have his moments--we all kinda do ^^;

And I would't blame him.

I think he's basing it on Dragonball.

From what I've read he used to be really into it back in the day.

So it probably affected his drawing.

So really it wasn't Kishimoto's impression of Naruto.

Right, they probably magnified it for comedy.

But they definitely overdid it for him.
