That is true although one can still try. The key is to outwit your opponent in battle or at least that is the standard with which I play. If I can't think of something to counter the hit then I have to rp that I took the hit. No sparklypoo escapage for me. Of course I haven't done any rping for quite sometime now. Aang is better at writing fight sequences I think than me.

Well I think it would be hard for anyone in that position. A vicious murder has taken up residence in your best friend's body and the only way to stop the killing is to possibly kill your friend. Although would Maes really want to live knowing that his family was killed and by his own hands?
