Understandable about the job situation. I wouldn't be going to GenCon anyway, well, not for the entire time, that is. My job has been cutting hours due to the new owners at Indiana Beach and their decision for not helping my boss start up our outside location (take two shifts off each day - ouch) as well as the lack of business we're having during the week. That and the gas prices up here... Um... Yeah. I have now been bumped down to weekend help and caramel corn/taffy strip production help. We got too many kids on the staff, and everyone wants hours. But my boss refuses to pay people to sit on their a** when no one is buying anything. I fear I'll be getting another job soon, and no one is really hiring at the moment.



As for the open house - Mary... I hate to say this, but NO ONE from our group showed up. Mark had car issues that month, so he had no money and he needed to work that weekend. Margaux couldn't take the weekend off. Apryl had to work. Amy was with her boyfriend. Caitlin and Leo had no ride. Gypsy couldn't make it. Then there was the Brian-Megan-Kevin drama on the boards in which if Brian showed up, Megan and Kevin wouldn't come. Needless to say, Megan couldn't come anyway due to her job at the time, and, what do you know? Brian didn't leave me an excuse/reason for his absence. To cut it short, I mainly had family and church family. And to be frank, it sucked!



Seriously, my summer could be better by a long shot. It's just so depressing and lonely up here, even though my best friend is back home for good. Sad to say, visiting her is the only thing that has been keeping me sane.

I probably would have given you those strange looks too. I have heard of Bleach for many years now but I am not really into very long animes so I haven´t seen much. I am in spain now for a Hol, going back home today, its been sooooo nice. Everything is really cheap too, which is always good. "Waiter! Bring me more Sangria!" Its good.
