Imagine yourself in a room with a hypnotist. He sits you down in a nice, comfy chair.You get amaizingly good grades in all classes and do not believe in hypnotism. He holds your hand and says in a soothing voice: "This may hurt before you begin drifting away from the world." You begin to feel a little scared now, despite your knowledge on the subject. He now says: "You look nervous. But try not to be. I'm going to hold your hand now, and i will also put my other hand here." You nod your head. He takes your hand and puts his other hand on the back of your neck. Before you can feel the placement of the hand on your neck, he says "one!" and the world begins to blur. You feel his hands slipping away and you have a falling sensation. You struggle to keep your eyes open, but they feel like they weigh tons.

The next thing you know, you find the strength to open your eyes and focus on the room you were in. The hypnotist looks surprised. Now confused. Then he snaps his fingers like he just remembered something. You feel sleepy again, but you fight to stay awake. And succeed.

The moral of this story is that if you have a weak mind, hypnotism will work against your will. If you have a strong mind, and you want to be in the mezmorizing trance of hypnotism, it will also work.
