Robin held his breathe as much as he could, but the gas went into his lungs.
As soon as he went in, the suit registered it and the bat computer recieved the info of his vitals. A program designed by Batman and Nightwing watch over the vitals of every person wearing a suit designed by bruce and Harold. Every time something was wrong, a high frequence sound is blasted from the belt buckle cracking a quartz bulb behind Robin's teeth. A neurotoxin used by lady shiva and perfectioned by bruce and Oracle is released in Robin's body.
This toxin awake first the brain and the ears, allowing Robin (and Batman) to sneak the situation before theyre bodys get fully activated in a matter of two seconds.
Before this night, Robin never had the chance to actually try the toxin in a real combat situation, but Bruce's trainning was good enough to allow him to control the toxin effect.
Joker's about to get a big surprise.*

Robin was searching the neighborhood, looking for a clue to Joker's whereabouts, when he heared it.
At first, it was like a heavy wood box falling from a couple of floors to solid concrete. HE almost even ignored it thinking it was probably a car crash. But then, the screams, the panic and death scared voices. Then he rememberd it. The mayor was giving a speech at Gotham's Stanley Park.
Robin shoot the hook to a really distant gargoyle. He jumped out of the roof he was and swinging as fast as he could, he arrived to the place where the mayor was killed.
It was swarming with cops. All of them screaming and wielding guns, pointing to every possible spot in the surrondings. They are all scared and hysteric. Even when Joker's haven been doing this for a while, people still cant get used to it.
Comming down would be stupid. They wont talk to a cloaked boy. I actually don't think they could even listen the big guy.
So Robin leave them be and start the hunt the way Batman taught him.
think like a predator. Observe the surroundings. Think like them, consider all the options...
He soon found a police uniform on a dark nearby alley. There was a dark bridge ahead and one of Joker's blade cards was on the floor.*

Robin was driving the Red Bird over Burrard when the police radio started to comunicate the events of that night. First, one officer lost, abducted from his station out of the Art Gallery. Two hours later, the cop was found by an old lady in her kitchen. The cop was killed in a very vicious way and his mouth was cut to both of his cheeks.
20 minutes later, a Black blurr moved on top of the roof where the cop was found death.
Robin wont go down, Gordon's men can respect Batman, but for this they get sentimental. It's s shame he wont be able to study the crime scene, but of course, probably there's nothing there he dosn't know alredy.
she must be arround, a girl in cop's uniform. A time bomb walking Gotham streets. There is not much time, Robin hit a button on his belt buckle and a white pale light turns on in his ear, the audio magnifier activated.
The hunt is on... *
