Your post in the Homeschooling topic was completely spot-on. Really, I can't emphasis enough how true it is. The only socialization I ever recall getting at my old public school was gossip, bullying, severe discrimination, and flirting. It's enough to drive you up the wall. For those of us dedicated learners out there who don't give a rat's a** about who's dating who, home schooling takes that all away.
