In Minecraft you can build almost anything you can imagine and, using TNT, demolish it after you're done. You can also use the TNT to mine the materials to build if you so desire. In case just building gets boring survival mode includes monsters to fight such as zombies, skeletons, creepers (they blow up people's homes), and a variety of other creatures too.

It was cheaper while it was in beta. I got it when it was only $10 or so. I'd say it is worth $20 if you like to build stuff. If you enjoyed legos as a kid and especially if you still enjoy legos or lego-like things, it's worth that price. Otherwise don't bother. There is no plot unless you create or download a mod for one and the graphics are 8-bit or something.

No, you can play it on the Minecraft website. You might need to buy it though and it costs $20 now. You can play the demo for free, but at this point I doubt the demo is even close to being as good as the real game.

It's a great game for anyone who enjoys building or creating things. Some people even do art in Minecraft. If you have the patience for that sort of thing you could do avi art monuments in-game.

Minecraft is a good game. It's like Legos with tons of bonus material for teens and adults.

Nope, no trouble. Slightly sleep deprived, but I'm alright. Just got really lucky in Minecraft. Spawned right next to a chasm filled with coal, iron, gold, and leading down to redstone, lapis lazuli, and so far I've found an abundance of every building material except diamond. Within two hours of playing I've got several trunks packed with everything I might need except string. I've never been good at farming string.

What arts are keeping you busy? Sketching?
