It's only with the turn of the equinoxes and seasons that I'm motivated to slump off my easy chair and start typing up a new heading for the season.

Mayhaps in other regions, Spring still reigns, or even Winter yet. Not in California. The dog days of summer are already approaching. Al Gore and those cute, cuddly penguins may have had a point with all that Global Warming talk.

This is Softie speaking here. Over and out. Nothing much to say, except that I dislike summer. What wouldn't I give to have cool weather back and malfunctioning air conditioners gone. XD

The best thing about summer (besides summer vacation) is the skies. Gigantic landscapes of unsullied clouds heaped upon blue skies. If I could flap my arms fast enough, maybe I can overcome gravity and fly away to live on such a cloud island. Real Estate would be cheap, and it would always be cool, year round! Then again, I wouldn't want birds and UFO's for neighbors. A person has special needs fuilfilled only on land, like solid food and Borders manga section.

Things of some notice:

1. To my friends, I swear I'm writing back to your letters! I got really swamped by school and club work (still am, actually) in the last few months, so I neglected all letters dreadfully. But I'm catching up... pwease forgive my lateness? *puppydog eyes* But I really am catching up...it'll just take a while to mail things off and get new stamps. The Postal Service has forever earned my ire by raising stamp prices AGAIN. D<

2. Gaia has just released a gorgeous new clothing line...and what do they do? OVERPRICE IT!!!! Goshdarn it, I accuse those Gaia Admins of being prejudiced against poor folks! Honestly, when the cheapest items happen to be a 5 digit price...heads will roll...from the guillotine!! And I so badly wanted that pretty French coat too...and wig...top, jewelry, masks...*sniff*

3. Um...I like Hayao Miyazaki? *typical fangirl answer*

5. Personal projects for this season:
a)Enter in some art contests (or something...) to get needed gold to become a French noble...a filthy rich one if possible.
b)Memorize the lyrics to "If only I were a goth" and "Shiny teeth and Me." (thanku Lanie-chan!)
c)Stop procrastinating.
