Oh, so I have a question about wanikani because I can't remember. Do you have to Guru all of the vocab before you can get to the next level? I haven't subscribed yet because I'm waiting until I get to level 3, but now I'm wondering if I could already be at level 3 without knowing it since I've Gurued (is that a word?) all of the radicals and kanji.

...The final evolutions of the X and Y starters are absolutely terrible. I had seen leaks of them and was really hoping they weren't real. Honestly, the only one that's kinda decent is the the water one. neutral

Usually I'm pretty good at paying attention to the colors, but sometimes I just get on a roll entering the answers and see a kanji pop up and go "oh I know that one!" and just enter the first thing that pops into my head and yeah. emo

I'm so pissed that 木 is still in the apprentice section because I entered もく instead of　き. scream

Holy crap, why the heck were you there that long???

Oh! So there's a new bowling "league" on Sunday mornings. I have league in quotation marks because basically what it is is that anyone who shows up can bowl it. They call it "Sunday Brunch", and you have breakfast first and then bowl three games (the breakfast is really good!! Especially the bacon. blaugh ). Towards the end they do a drawing for prizes, and it's just a lot of fun. What's nice is that there's no obligation, you just show up whenever you want to bowl. So we were wondering if you wanted to join us one of these weekends.

I'm only 21% done with kanji for level two because I keep putting the kanji reading when they're looking for the vocab reading. emo

Yeah, I haven't looked at my Anki decks in FOREVER, but I think I can stick with Wanikani. It's a lot easier to remember stuff when they give you all those observe mnemonics rather than just staring at the kanji and trying to remember it. xd
