The good part of it was, all her friends in the MF stood up for her and reported the thread. The few people who were bitching about reporting will go on constantly complaining about the mods without ever trying to do a damn thing themselves, so I don't feel their opinions even count.

All you need to know is, the OP's a ******** idiot, he's been treating her like s**t for a while now, and I blocked and deleted both him and his equally stupid friends from my MSN contact list a while back. They think everything's a ******** joke and don't know when to back off.



Sorry to rant about it, but they've really pissed me off.

Yep. That was from the preface to his latest essay collection-- I haven't gotten very far in it yet, but what I've read so far is excellent. He even discusses the Saudis banning Pokemon!

I've just added something new to my profile. It's a lengthy quote, so I don't know how many people will actually read it, but I felt it summed up my feelings about the people who get all bent out of shape over criticism and "negativity" in the MF. Not that I can imagine Umberto Eco ever visiting Gaia, much less looking at the MF, but his words still fit.
