OOH! I'm excited now!!!
I don't know if you'll want to use this idea, but how about picking one random theme like "rain" or "mirrors", and then stating some restrictions (word count, poetry/prose). Then people will have a specific topic and style to write about, and it'll make judging the work more fair, because it's not going to be a comparison of apples and oranges, know what I mean? ^_^
Either way, it's just an idea.

Well, I've always wanted to post some of my writing up for people to read. And then I got Gaia, and jumped at the opportunity. It's always fun to read people's comments and thoughts about my work...
I do have a question though:
Are there going to be any writing contests coming up soon? Because that would be totally cosmic! XD

your submission was the best no lie.
actually it was almost too good.

follow through with that and provide an adequate background and it would make an excellent story.

but the story's driving message didnt interest me much, but it was really descriptive and i could "see" what you were telling me in your story.

but mad props nontheless.
