I've been told many times from a lot of different users.
Gaia doesn't care about the users anymore, they just care about the money.

I see that as partly true. A friend of mine changed his gender and the only way he could log in, was to do the forgot password and go to his email and sign into Gaia that way, but also no one could send him PM's they has to use the number thing from his profile to PM him.
It sucked D: and very time consuming .___.
He quit because he always had to make a new password each time he wanted to sign in D:

way back when I didn't know much about Gaia, I wasn't on long before it happened.
I didn't know anyone personally outside of Gaia to help me, so no, I didn't D:
But I managed to make this and still trying to regain some things.
But I'm in no rush, I'll get them back eventually gonk
