One thing that I still don't understand, is that if you look back to Monroe and the Era of Good Feelings, it shows that no political parties are better. Washington even said not to make parties, but we did, and the first campaign was made by the first real president to mess up completly, Jackson. people just want a seat of power, but yes most likely we will come together, to fend off another Hitler, or something along those lines.

It is true that many world leaders only care about their country and not the world as a whole. I know it may not be possible now, but in the future things might be different. It may be the near future, it may be the far future. Eventually all will have to come together in a time of need.

Unfortunatly what you say is impossible, Some of the world leaders do not want peace, but war. They want to control the world and feel good about themselves because they are better then the other people. If peace was possible, it would be a much better world.

Your views are valid, members of my family supported the war when it first began then pulled back. I myself never supported the idea of war, I find it pointless and wasteful. War is not needed to settle disputes. It might be easier to use that method but there are better ways. Negotiation ,I find, is the best method. If the leaders of the world can just speak to one another about their problems and come to an agreement on a course of action this world would be a better place.

Sean, I am not saying that the war is evil, I am saying that the people who supported it at the begining, don't support it now, kinda like how the revolutionary war was. They had alot of "sunshine patriots" they were with it when it was going well, agasint it when it was not. People can't get behind something that might have problems for them in the future. Adding to my assumption that PEOPLE ARE SELFISH! And many are cowards. Check out my journal for more insight.

I agree with you wholeheartedly. In fact I find myself being selfish quite often. With the war subject, it's been said millions of times and nothings going to change anything. I am getting quite sick of people bitching about the war and not doing anything. Oh this war is so evil! Bush is in it for the oil! F*cking get off your lazy a** and do something about it then!! I can't blame you Isaac you really can't do anything yet( Neither can I yet either >.< wink . But uh, yeah good page. XD
