The way he was looking at her then, made her heart skip a few beats. No one had really looked her like that, at least from what she could recall. Feeling Remy close the distance between the two of them then by moving in closer. The subtle rise and fall of her chest was possibly noticeable somewhere in the background of the moment. As she felt his warm hand cover over her own then. Jean's lips parted, saying his name just barely above a whisper when she suddenly felt warmth applied along her lips. Before she could say another word, or react. She felt the world dip back slightly, as Remy's lips stole a kiss from her. Leaving her breathless, in that brief passing moment.

When she felt as though she was grounded again. There was a part of her that said, What just happened? When in fact she knew what happened. Remy took a hold of the opportunity that presented itself to him then. Her head was swimming a bit then, as she regathered her senses. "Mmm, no, I don't think that's necessary, Mr. LeBeau." She felt drunk, even though she knew she wasn't. Feeling her cheeks blossom into a brighter shade of red as she gazed back at him. "Though I must say... I think further investigation on the matter needs to be conducted. Before turning you in." Taking his lead, since she was still in his arms. She leaned forwards, allowing her lips to tenderly brush in and against his lips in response. Her hands gliding up softly along either side of his cheeks before, allowing her hands to rest along his shoulders. Holding him closely to her, as she kissed Remy in her own affectionate manner.

"Why Remy LeBeau! Do I see a bit of red rouge along thine cheeks?" She giggled, seeing how Remy was struggling to hide it. At him mentioning, let alone addressing her as an officer. She couldn't help but grin. "Careful what you wish for there, Remy. I might be carrying a spare set of handcuffs with me at all times. And I'm not talking about the pink, fuzzy ones." Winking at him, "You did that on purpose didn't you? Trying to butter me all up with that thick, accent of yours." Smiling at him, "Are you trying to make me swoon? 'Cause thick accents sure are sexy, especially yours." If he was going to flirt with her, she felt she needed to return the favor by flirting with him in return. Remy always had this alluring side to him. Maybe it was the accent, that he laid on heavy that made her heart skip a few beats. Or the fact that he speaks another language. He is a very attractive, dangerous man that was for sure.

It was almost funny in a sense. Jean had always been drawn to bad boys, but never really approached them in her past life. That is unless they threatened those she cared about. Remy was definitely the epitome of a bad boy. "Then that is Rogue's choice. If she wants to wander around listlessly and aimlessly because of unhappiness or boredom. Let her be. If she knows what she wants in life. And who she wants to spend life with, she will return and tell you what she wants, who she wants it with. If not, then you know it was never meant to be." That wasn't just about Rogue in general, it was about anyone in general. Reaching out with her fingertips to touch the side of Remy's rose colored cheek. "Forcing someone to do something they don't want to do or be apart of. Can make them feel uncomfortable, to where they leave for a while. To find what they are looking for. Hopefully they find what they are and have been seeking. When that happens, they'll come back, eventually or not at all." Keeping her eyes on his, "Don't forget Remy, you have a life too. Don't forget to live and enjoy what you want out of life." Allowing her fingertips to linger lightly along side his cheek as she spoke to him. Remy deserved to be happy! Jean hoped that he was able to follow along with what message she was telling him. Life is too short, to wait for someone who constantly battles with what they want, don't want, or can't decide on what they want in life.
