Souretsu pretended not to know that Ayame had noticed. She had other rings. The one on her right hand was black with a gold stripe in the middle, and the other on her left hand was gold with a black stripe in the middle.

Souretsu nodded at her and started to walk away with Aya. She turned back so she was looking at Ayame's father. "One more thing. I never wanted to be half-demon. When I found out I was, I wished I was never born. So don't think you're the only one who hates what I am." She said.
