I have informed the Hatter of Laizabel's effect on Allie, but I do not think she is as close to the Hatter as she could be. The only one she truly seems to listen to is Alice. Perhaps she can talk some sense into the girl?

We originally kept with a friendly approach, allowing her to open up to us as she pleased, which seemed to work for a while... for a time she was able to tell me about anything... But I assume her visits by that Laizabel girl have tainted her mind with ideas that I am not trustworthy. She slowly began ignoring my questions, fearing my presence. Occasionally she would suffer from night terrors or further hallucainations, for which medicines were provided. Other times she does not sleep at all. She simply draws more disturbing images and mutters to herself.

I know... I only fear that she tries to hurt herself or escape again. We have had to resort to a few remedies to keep her from causing further self-injury, and I'd rather she did not grow dependent on them. If she escapes, nothing can stop her.

Still rather disliking her confinement. She is being kept under more watchful guard to prevent another further escape. If you or your daughters wish to visit her, you need only ask, but I would suggest limiting all visitation. I know she is sorely missed, and she may not be behaving as we would hope for the time being, but I am certain that she will accept our help in time.
