Gotcha... And she cried the whooooole time? Pretty sad...
Meanwhile, rehearsal went... okay. Elizabeth gets to play a small part. We have to list a bunch of food and stuff in our shopping cart, so I let Elizabeth out to say "corn, and tuna surprise, and cuppycakes, and gum drops, and strawberry tarts, and gummy worms, and boston cream pie, and chunky chocolate chip cookie flavoured ice cream~..."
She seems content with her role. She's been practising.

You never know. We'll see how she reacts to different methods of curing, perhaps she will be well enough to see you sooner than later. Once she truly gets to know you without her fantasies of cruel or unjust punishment clouding her mind, she may accept you for who you are.

You will be able to see her in time. When she is assured of the fact that you do care about her, when she is aware of the fact that you do not wish to hurt her. You are not a bad mother-- Allie has simply been through too much, and she needs some time away from any factors that may further tilt her mind.

Understandable. I'm certain laizabel would feel more comfortable with Alice in any case. I have been rather curious about the girl, but I will remain oblivious to her case in question. I do hope she is of assistance to Allie... It pains me to see how she has changed like this, it must be that much more difficult on your part.

I would not be surprised either. However, Laizabel speaks only to her mother... and now Allie... and is absolutely terrified of doctors. Particularly those in the mental profession. If we are to interrogate her, I can have little to no part, or as indirect a part as possible.

I see. I only bring it up because... young Laizabel once wrote and illustrated something of this girl. I did not read it myself, it was simply lying in one of the many corridors of Silas' home, but I recall the name. I asked if it belonged to her and she immediately tore it from my grip, running in the opposite direction. Granted, I am not particularly one of her favourite people in the world, but I suspect the page had some meaning to her nonetheless.
