-After having raped Hidan they continued on with their normal cycle of bitching, eating, sleeping, etc. until they came upon and went through tea country, stopping in Degarashi Port to secure a vessel for sea country.-

Kakuzu's eyes were automatically drawn to the blood coming out of the pike wounds and for a moment he was irritated with his partner and wanted to twist the pike in deeper, watching the look of pain on Hidan's features as his life left him. He wouldn't die though, he never did. Kakuzu could 'kill' him over and over again and always he would come back. It irritated the hell out of him, even more so when he felt the slightest bit of relief when the man opened his eyes and cursed at him. He shouldn't feel relief at that.
Annoyed with his own thoughts he turned that onto Hidan who was still deep in his praying. Always praying to his god. His life, quite literally, revolved around Jashin and that just served to irritate Kakuzu even more.
Moving closer to the man he stopped outside of his circle. It was like a boundry he wasn't supposed to pass. On the other side was Hidan and his ******** god; untouchable.

He watched Hidan's theatrics from a short distance, already used to his ritual and his psychotic way of fighting, and as the girl's blood spilt he felt a twitch of desire to kill. It had been a while since he had killed anyone as well. It would be pointless if it wasn't for gold or to extend his own life but taking a life gave him a thrill like nothing else. The power he had, the mere ability to crush someone's throat with his bare hands, was exhilarating and he wouldn't give it up for anything.
Hidan's markings and the scythe he wielded seemed ironic to him; a shinigami praising another god. Perhaps Jashin was some sort of god of death, he didn't know. He never really listened to his rants about his religion. The pleasure he got out of it though, was fascinating.
His eyes were drawn to him as he contorted in pleasure and pain. Kakuzu didn't understand Hidan's desire to perform this ritual or the effects of it but it was always interesting to watch. Maybe that's why he didn't rush the man through it. Not until he stopped moving, lying there in his bloody symbol--a mirror image to his victim.
It irritated him, seeing his partner like that, and the only thing that stopped him from interrupting was the knowledge that Hidan would just do it else where, somewhere where he couldn't watch him.

He had noticed the traveler as well as the look Hidan had when he spotted the person. Obviously he was going to have to watch as his partner ran like a maniac, screaming and hunting the person down, before sitting through a ******** half hour ritual. He didn't mind waiting for him since Hidan had no choice but to follow him when he went after bounties, but a half hour ritual was rather excessive. At least he didn't have to worry about getting hit right now since his partner could see again.
