Even he didn't know what his heart's unusual attraction to Hidan was about. Whatever it was, it was starting to get out of hand. He didn't want to have to 'rescue' his partner every time he let them out or be forced to keep them in. Letting go of his other heart he managed to make his way over to him, eventually using the bed as support and sitting on the end of it, staring down at Hidan. "What the hell is your problem with them?" He really did need to get over it.

He winced as Hidan's scream seemed to echo throughout the bathroom and wanted to tell him to shut up but that would entail more screaming. With his head throbbing he hoped to hell that he didn't do it again and dragged his a** out of the shower, halfway drying off before he stopped caring. Using his heart as his support he moved back into the room and glared at Hidan but not speaking. He didn't even want to risk dealing with more words.

Once in the shower he turned it one and felt the distinct urge to drown himself in it. He would never get drunk with Hidan ever again. Not for any less than double the money he had gotten last time. Leaning his forehead against the tile he wished for a hangover remedy.

Late the next morning, after their drunken night of sex, Kakuzu awoke with a throbbing headache and the knowledge that this was somehow all Hidan's fault. He vaguely remembered the drinking contest and the intense urge to protect his money but most of it was rather blurry and it hurt his head to think about it. Groaning he made his way out of bed and stumbled towards the bathroom, using one of his hearts to stabilize himself. He needed a shower, both for his headache and to get rid of the sticky evidence of his and Hidan's activities.

He didn't think the man could get any closer, not unless he opened up his skin at the stitches and took him inside him. He tightened his grip on him to keep him in his lap, knowing that they'd have to move soon before they lost their balance and ended up on the floor or something. Not that that was a bad thing, but the bed was much more comfortable.

Wanting to be without distractions he sent his hearts out of him and far enough away that Hidan wouldn't freak out as usual. Keeping his attention focused on him he kissed him demandingly. He wanted more contact with him.

((OOC: The weird things he could do if he took his skin apart...))

Finding the sensation weird he pushed Hidan's face away from him. Figuring that he'd have to entertain him otherwise he then kissed the man, continuing his exploration of his chest. He unbuttoned Hidan's cloak the rest of the way and started pushing it off his shoulders.

Hidan nipping at his stitches wasn't nearly as distracting as his wiggling around in his lap was. And the way he left his cloak mostly open was tempting him. Unable to resist he slipped his hand inside.

Immediately he shut up, ceasing his laughter as though he had just noticed he was doing it. He stared at his partner for a long time before getting up and deciding something. Walking over to Hidan he took his shoe and weapons from him before picking him up and slinging him over his shoulder. He then went back to his bed and and sat down, pulling the man onto his lap and keeping him there by wrapping his arms around him.

"You sure as hell spend it well enough." He muttered and narrowed his eyes as he could have sworn there was at least three Hidans sitting there. That was three more than he could handle.

"Shut the hell up, I'm trying to concentrate here!" Finally he managed to get his shoes off and then glared at Hidan. "Don't ******** with me Hidan. I'll sic my hearts on you." He thought about it for a moment and then added.

"And don't ******** with my money either!!" Especially his money.

He glanced at his partner for a moment, not being able to figure out why he was on the floor, and then ignored him as he put away his money. Once it was all safe and secure though he was finally able to relax and ended up deciding that it was way too damn hot in here and therefore took off his cloak, mask, and shoes. Hidan's giggling was distracting him though and he had to sit down in order to get his shoes off.

((OOC: Got distracted by Gaara's family coming over.))

Once he got to their room he stopped suddenly and let go of Hidan's hand, digging out the key again to unlock the door. After several tries he got the damn thing in and opened it. Upon entering he almost slammed the door in his partner's face before remembering him. Grabbing the front of his cloak he dragged him inside with him before hurriedly going to put his money together.

He was paranoid about his money. He wanted his money all near him all the time and right now his partner was preventing that. They had to hurry up. "I want my ******** money."

"Fine, but you're not bright." He didn't want his partner breaking down in tears like some drunks did. He swore he'd leave him in the damn lobby if he did--or maybe not. It'd be inconvenient if he wanted to ******** later and Hidan wasn't there for him.
Speaking of which, his damn partner wasn't moving nearly as quickly as he wanted him to and so he grabbed his hand, the one without the shoe, and proceeded in dragging him down the hallways back to their room. He wanted to get away from all these damn people and get his money all together in one place. He didn't like leaving any of it alone for long periods of time.
