"You're ******** retarded now ******** deal with it." Entering the building he didn't bother keeping the door open for his partner, instead focusing on which damn hallway he was supposed to be taking. There was too freaking many of them.

"******** you, I know where I'm going." He was picking up on his partner's speech patterns but he didn't care. He knew where he was going damn it. It was only a hotel...a hotel he currently couldn't remember the name of. Taking out his key he looked at it and was relieved to find that the name was indeed printed on it. Pausing to look around he eventually found the same characters on one of the buildings and figured that that had to be the place.

"Stop being retarded and hurry up." He took off towards the hotel without waiting for a reply. In fact he forgot that Hidan would even make a reply to something like that.

Kakuzu had meant to catch the shoe but instead ended up smacking it back at Hidan. As it hit his partner he figured that his point had been made well enough and turned to make his way back to the inn. He remembered the way, he knew he did, but he felt that if he thought about it then he wouldn't be able to make it there. Therefore he forced himself to think of nothing but it wasn't quite working out. He was acutely aware of his partner's presence.

Once outside and far enough away from the bar that he wasn't drowning in noise, he tuned back to make sure Hidan was following him and then glared at the man critically. Something was different about him but he couldn't quite put his finger on it it just yet. After a few moments of staring he finally figured it out. "...Did you get shorter?"

Hidan had inadvertently done something to help him. That and having won the competition, Kakuzu was in a pretty damn good mood. That could mostly be attributed to the alcohol though and he claimed his prize immediately before his alcohol ridden mind made him forget about it. Now having a lot of money on him he wanted nothing more than to get away from all these people and stash it with his briefcase full of gold. Glaring at everyone that tried to congratulate him he stood up, swaying slightly for a second, before turning his attention to Hidan. "Hidan, get off the table and get your shoe, we're leaving."

It didn't surprise him that Hidan had gotten into a fight with someone or that he had been disqualified. At least he had taken out another competitor with him and now it was down to him and the female. He wouldn't be out drunken by a woman. His mind was getting cloudy though and he knew he was drunk at this point. Hidan cursing and spatting like a cat as he was pried off the other man wouldn't be as funny otherwise.

Hidan was starting to get on his nerves as well with his constant complaining and he felt the distinct urge to knock him unconscious himself, but that would get him disqualified. Instead he settled on glaring at his partner as the put the shots away. It was starting to affect his judgment and he would have stopped long ago if there weren't still competitors besides himself and Hidan. If it came down to just the two of them he'd let Hidan win and then just take the prize from him.

Thankfully no one seemed to notice his stitches so he didn't have to deal with that but all of the people and the loud noises was starting to irritate him. He wanted to get this over with as soon as possible and glanced at the competition as he downed the shots without problem. He hadn't drunk alcohol in a long time and it was starting to affect him but not enough so that he felt the need to stop.
((OOC: So busy cursing at someone he misses a shot. XD))

Kakuzu didn't even bother checking to see who was behind him and instead waited for the contest to start and his shot glass to be filled. He wasn't excited about having to drink quickly but he'd deal with it. It was Hidan that he was worried about. Even with little bottles the man had gotten drunk quickly and easily. Who knows what he would do while completely intoxicated.
((OOC: Dunno, but Kakuzu can last until the end.))

Kakuzu would be a lot less apprehensive if Hidan weren't so enthusiastic about this. None-the-less he wasn't going to let that force him into passing up on an opportunity to win practically free money. That being decided he went over to the line of people, glaring at the man with the microphone and daring him to even try to talk to him with that.

There were several bouncers at the door but compared to him they were nothing. Without even having to size him up he knew that he could take all of them on and win without hardly trying. They seemed to have enough sense to realize this and let him and his partner through without trouble. He figured there'd be an entrance fee but the hardly legal girl they had collecting the money took one look at him and ran off. It looked like he wouldn't have to pay then.

His partner was far too excited about this. There was really no reason to run to the event since it wasn't going anywhere, and a half-naked albino with a giant scythe attracted enough attention as it was. With the large crowd up ahead he didn't need Hidan to tell him where to go and went ahead on his own, pushing his way through the crowd once he got there. Thankfully he didn't see any ninja among them. Sea country didn't have a hidden village after all and paid rain country for what they needed.

"There's nothing to miss." They might consider someone like Hidan a light weight and let him join in even if they had already started, so at least one of them would be involved no matter what. Following after his partner he took the time to shut and lock the door behind him before taking off to the entrance. Something that got his partner this excited couldn't end in anything good--it never did--and so he was a bit apprehensive.

Kakuzu thought this was a bad idea, no, he knew this was a bad idea but the monetary reward was very tempting. He knew he could hold his liquor well enough and that Hidan wouldn't die from alcohol poisoning, but getting drunk around his partner wasn't something he wanted to do. ....The money was calling to him though. There was also the possibility that their opponents couldn't hold their liquor well. He'd be annoyed if that were the case and he had missed out on easy money.
Having talked himself into it he begrudgingly got out of bed and put the rest of his clothing on. Hopefully the lighting in the bar would be bad enough that they wouldn't be able to see his stitches. "Alright, lets go." He was going to regret this...

He stared at his partner from his position on the bed on his stomach, only halfway sitting up. If the footsteps hadn't woken him up than his partner running into the door certainly would have. He had come to expect such things from Hidan but it still left him shaking his head when s**t like this actually happened. It took him a moment to process what he had said but soon he was scowling in response. "You want me to enter a drinking contest?"
The monetary reward was appealing to him but it wasn't worth it if it wasn't a large amount. "How much?" He wondered if in his excitement Hidan had even bothered to find out. Probably not, he thought.

'Finally', he muttered to himself. Having finished with his book keeping he put his pants back on and put away his things before climbing onto the bed, intent on getting some sleep. Who knew what Hidan would do to annoy him and keep him up so he wanted to rest while he could. He didn't want to deal with his partner's screams again so this time he didn't bring out his hearts, instead having to go into a lighter sleep to avoid any threats.

Why did his partner have to be so damn annoying? He bitched almost constantly and yet he still had the gall to get annoyed over something like this? He scowled and went back to his book keeping, intent on ignoring Hidan.

"Don't bleed over everything." Even if he didn't have to pay for it he didn't want to explain why there was blood everywhere and how the hell his partner was 'alright.' They'd get enough stares just from being two guys sharing a hotel room while dressed in weird clothing.

He made a non-committal grunt and wondered why the man wanted to spend even more time with him without ********. There must be some reason for it so he'd keep an eye on him. He must be up to something...
