I told you it was unbelievable. Anyway, the students got suspended for three days (?) and everyone KNOWS who they were. Oh boy, their parents MUST be very proud of them . . . But at the middle school, sixth graders are already going out on dates. The reason I know this is because that my high school is right nextdoor and the two schools share the bus parking lot.

On a seperate note, my school hasn't had a good senior prank in years, I was told. Even though I'm a sophmore, I'm already coming up with good ideas.

Well the reason for the kissing/PDA rule was due to two students caught having sex OUTSIDE a teacher's door.

Yeah, well the bathroom problem was mostly due to people meeting their friends in the bathroom and talking to them, so they weren't really using the toilets. Last year and before my school had hall passes that EVERYONE would take to the bathrooms with them and Heaven knows what kind of grems were on those things! But school is going good for me so far, even with the new rules they have installed such as getting suspended for up to three days for kissing in the hallways. The story behind that one is understandable and unbelievable . . .

Today was the first day of school for me and because of so many people needing to go to the bathrooms in recent years, the school has given us agendas (planners) with hall passes in them. I can understand that, but what I can't stand is when they are explaining the meaning of the Pledge of Allegiance over the intercom one the first day of school. Then when they eccpect you to stand and say it but you don't (for whatever reason), teachers make you look like a bad student and they say something like, "There are people from your country over in Iraq dying to defend your freedom."

Yeah. I mean, I've learned more things this summer than I have in one semester at school. But one thing that makes my high school different is that its tolerence level is pretty high, so I'm happy!
