Well what type did you used? So I was right that you use a small brush relative to the canvas to color so that the red will show?

Well honestly you are not really drawing your avatar anyways. You are drawing a human girl version, while you are a male alien.... It is okay to change some stuff sometimes that's where creative come from.

Patience! My computer won't load gaia for a while!
long but detailed
shorter and a very good tutorial might want to start this one first
Hair tutorial but it has the basics of coloring that can be applied to everything read it too
Really advance that I don't even get it
