LOL hopefully I can find a person who I love to talk to, so that when the romance fades we can still have a good conversation! xD Nah, swingers are kinda gross, lol. Whatever works for them though, haha.

Hahah.. i guess things would work perfectly if both people spiced up their love life a bit, maybe become swingers? haha.

LOL I know for a fact that my parents haven't slept with each other since i was 4, lol. My moms parents were alcoholics, and my mom, at one point, was an alcoholic, too. She's been sober for over 20 years. She met my dad in AA, lol. My mom is strong though. She's lost a daughter (she was only 14, died two years before i was born) and right before that, both of her parents. She was the only one who took care of her dying parents, her sisters didn't lift a hand. At the same time, she was also taking care of her daughter and her nephews/nieces... so she turned to alcohol, she was very young, though. Sometimes I think my parents hate each other... idk, they're great companions sometimes, but there is no romance, whatsoever.

The paper is due on monday, but thanks ^^ I'll note those for future reference, my mom is going to briefly explain some book she's read about death and grief, and i'm going to write something about that.

True. Like my father was physically/mentally abused really badly by his father. He wont lay a hand on me, or even discipline me, but he still has the rage in him, i can see it. Like when him and my mom fight and she talks down to him, It's all he can do to keep his self together and not strike her (he hasn't hit her, but when the fight i get scared because it seems that he's frighteningly close to one of these days). And my mom has good qualities from both her parents (shes the handy one, not my dad. her dad was very handy and good at fixing things, he always knew what to do. And she's very generous and kind like her mother was, as i mentioned before) She has made an effort not to make the mistakes that her parents made, BUT, unfortunately she does in some ways. When she gets upset with me she says really hurtful things, things that she knows break my confidence and break my heart, she does the same things that she hates her mom for doing. *sigh* It's very hard to break the cycle, but I think I'll look at my parents/their parent's mistakes, learn from them, and truly try my best to avoid those mistakes. My parents are actually great parents, i love them dearly, everyone has their flaws (god bless them) but as hard as they try to avoid their parents mistakes, they repeat them.

Hii ^^ I have a predicament. I need to write a letter to an author who has inspired me for English, and I can't really think of any author to write to. I love many books and I'm a big fan of certain authors, but I'm not sure If they've actually inspired me. I don't want to write something phony, this is important to me. Any suggestions?

Oh, wow =/ My mom has a REALLY HOT temper, she has to breath and calm herself so that she doesn't snap, she strangled my dad once... yeah, she has it in her, lol. I'm not that violent, I don't try to bottle it up, because I don't have it THAT bad, so I'll lose my cool and ******** with people, haha. I'm sorry you endured physical/mental abuse from your own family =/ You're such a good person, people like you don't deserve that. Unfortunately, it's usually the greatest people who have ******** up lives. My mom screams so loud in my face... it's unbearable sometimes, and she's so sensitive. Like I don't even know when I'm saying something wrong half the time, and suddenly she's going crazy... *sigh* I use a stress ball, lol.

Lol thats some EXCELLENT logic. My mom has a short temper, if someone is mean to her she'll go off of them, lol. She's very codependent though... so, that's where she's ********. I'm the same. I'll be nice to you if you're nice to me.... If you're an a*****e, then good luck, because I have a short temper like my moms, lol.

OH my... yeah, I feel for your friend George, i have other family members who have gone through similar experiences (my family is full of neurotic people). My cousin Phillip was actually conceived in a prison hospital, he dropped out of high school and works at Trader Joes, but he's a nice kid, lol. Ugh omg, there's probably a good reason she's keeping you away from her lezbo gal pal, you'll probably kill her! haha xD I really hate people who think they're deserving the more you give them, sooo many people i know are like that, it's awful. My mom is a VERY generous person, too generous, actually. She gives out money to all her nieces/ nephews. My dad get's mad at my mom, because she doesn't have to be so giving, but it's just the way she is, we can't stop her. Several times we've had family members live with us (i never minded. i know people lose their homes, i didn't want them to be homeless) but her family acts like they ******** run our household when they're living with us for free... they have this control over her. It's how her parents raised them. They catered to her younger sister, let her older sister do whatever the ******** she wanted, and treated my mom like s**t and made her look out for her sisters... it's just dysfunctional, completely. My mom's psychiatrist get's angry when he hears all her stories.. he thinks she should stop talking to her family completely, they're all nuts, and they only bring her AND my dad and I hardships.

She sounds just like my mom's younger sister. My mom supported her younger sister for years, always let her stay with her for rent-free, payed for her to go to rehab.. more than once. Oh, and she also was her nephews legal guardian for two years because her sister was screwing some drug dealer and wanted to give her little four year old boy away =/ It's a shame, too, because she's a pathological liar, and she tells her son that my mom is horrible and mean (only because my mom finally cut her out of her life and stopped enabling her). While she was going to NA meetings and living with my mom she told her sponsor that my mom charged her a lot of money and that she didn't feed her son... all the while my mom didn't make her pay one single cent, and bought my cousin video games, new clothes, payed for expensive day care, loved him. For his first 5 years of life he called my parents mom and dad, he didn't recognize his own mom. Anyways, I'm really sensitive to people who have siblings like that, cause i know what it's like =/ I hope your sister get's her act together.

Lol, I'm sorry, that's so unfortunate. I'm assuming she's a younger sibling? You'd think she'd have the same character as you do, after everything you and your family has gone through.

Oh well, even so she's being very foolish. As romantic as this relationship is, it's probably not going to last. And when it ends, where will she be? She'll be a college drop out, and struggling. It's so sad that she can't realize this.

Shes a little c**t. Sorry, but it's true. You should just drag her a** with you anyway, she has no right. A Serta?! That's a lot of money for you to spend on her! She's going to choose a platonic relationship over a beautiful home with wonderful people.. AND shes dropping out? shes ruining her life....
