OHNICE! Ahaha, I absolutely love civets. They're one of my favorite animals, actually, along with cats. Thanks for that association, it was pretty spiffy.

Yeah, it seems that many just don't like observing people extensively as we do. Or maybe they just don't care. Either way, I find the whole comparing people to animals quite fun. I remember playing a game similar to that in eighth grade, and then later reading the His Dark Materials series, in which a part of each person's soul was materialised as the animal which suited them the most. The idea just really intrigued me after that, and I've been watching people I know and associating them with animal counterparts. Like, I always say my dad is a martial eagle 'cause he's something of a solitary person, has that intense look in his eyes, especially when he is angry, is very intelligent, and quite arrogant. I really cannot see him as any other sort of animal ever since I began seeing him like that 'cause it just fits so well.

As for me, well, there's a picture on my profile, but other than that, here's a Photobucket album with pictures of me in it. There are quite a lot, I should warn you, but at least there's a bit of selection there: http://smg.photobucket.com/albums/v203/ShadowyVisions/Sexy%20Thorn/

Also, I must mention it's quite spiffy about your sister being into anthro art. I quite enjoy doing art myself. I used to be a bit more into the anthro thing, but now it's mostly people and dragons for me. Art is so much fun, but the one drawback to it is, in my experience, if you are good at the stuff, all the people around you want you to do it for a living. It's kind of insane. Even if I tell them it's entirely personal, that I've tried doing commissions and pieces for other people, but I tend to lose whatever passion I had for it in the first place, they still think that I should make a career of it. I'd much rather make a career of something that incorporates an artistic side, but also other elements as well. Such as video game design. With love of computers and a talent for art, that's the one career that really makes me want to become part of it.

Wow, I read your post about labeling people as their most similar animals. That was pretty damn awesome, I must say. I always liked doing that with my friends to the point that I had an uncanny interest in it. I don't even know why, but it always seemed like an awesome and fun game. It's pretty funny and frustrating as well, 'cause I can never get a straight answer out of anyone as to what kind of animal I'd be. My grandmother said I'd be a dragon because I draw dragons all the time, and my dad, after hemming, hawwing and being pestered by me said I'd be a panther because I dress in black, and my best friend couldn't decide, saying maybe a wolf, but then went with the panther thing when I mentioned it in a humorous way. I'm like "what the hell, I can see animals in other people, but I'm just that hard to place?" It was funny.

Aye. But given the choice of being content or changing, I would definitely change. The worst part of it all is being out in public looking like a guy. As it would be for any woman being called 'sir', or a guy being called 'ma'am'.

"Yes, sir... uh, ma'am... sir? Yes officer!"

Or being alone perhaps. It's always bothersome, not knowing whether to stay alone from being unable to be with others, or going out ignoring the feeling of living with oneself. Kind of a 'damned if you do, damned if you don't' type of deal.

And yes, it is very difficult at times. Mostly just the hormonal part. It leads to very hateful emotions.

One day it'll be okay...

Actually I have read about foot binding, chest ironing, and force feeding. It's terrible. By comparison it seems good to live in this country but people don't have to be so evil wherever they are.

In the end people will want to be which ever gender, color, size is treated better where they are. None of it matters but people are so wicked.

Actually, what makes someone look young are more or less feminine features. Large, wide-spaced eyes, round faces, clear complexion, long eye-lashes, short height, full lips, small nose... Mostly facial features. The ideal woman looks like a 12-year-old in most features except maybe a few, namely the boob department. And women who have more of these features, such as Anne Hathaway, will always look younger than they really are. Men who have these feminine features tend to look much younger than they really are. My friend Jason is about 28 years old and doesn't look a day over 15. HE has problems. lol

Also, the lack of wrinkles helps. That's part of clear complexion. Until you get to be about 28-30 it can be hard to guess age. Skin tends to be wrinkle-less. (Ulness you didn't take care of yourself.)

People really can't guess somebody's age by looking at them. What is it that makes people look old or young? I've been trying to figure it out. I like looking young though. I need more time to be a kid!

I've always been told I'm stupid but not by my mom. People always tell me I'm dumb and can't do anything and after awhile it sinks into my brain and I think I'm stupid.

However,it doesn't matter to me anyway. Stupid people need to be loved like anyone else.

You know, not many people ask me my age. However, when I tell them to guess they usually guess around 15 ! They can't believe I'm 21 cause I'm just too cute.

You can't always guess somebody's age very well. Tasha is 21 but looks the same as when she was 12.

Fighting the current is pretty much the only thing I do. It's all that's left to do. I sometimes chat with a guy who thinks he can fix everything by understanding history. He basically thinks that humans can solve their own problems if they completely follow "logic" which he doesn't explain.I had an argument with him over voluntary human extinction because he think that our entire purpose is to reproduce.

Talking with you is a great relief after the conversations I've had with most people.

I can agree with that. Though my life has been painful in many ways,it's far better than to become spoiled brats like many people I know. Life eventually gets tougher and they break. I can't break if I'm already broken. I'd have to say you are definitely wiser than most 24 year olds. There are plenty of people in their 30s like my sister Charity who think things must always go their way.

You make a lot of sense actually. Sometimes people do get sick of me and my problems.I try not to talk about it but when people ask me how I am,I never can respond. Today I just said,"I've had problems". If somebody asked me something different like my favorite color or music I would have an answer.Typical greetings are pointless to me. I don't get out much and it's good in a way. It's cool on the gaia forums because I can just read a post and reply to it so the focus isn't on me but the topic the first user started.

I personally don't like any religions. People are always pushing weird ideas on people. I got hell from people because they didn't like how I dressed.

The worst is when they try to explain why somebody died. There are times when it's better not to say anything.

Actually,I don't like it when people try to be positive and happy sounding. It's all fake. It's ok if you vent. We all have our problems and

pretending that life is always so great is just annoying.

I can't check every topic so I'm glad when someone points out the good ones. I didn't want our conversation to die! I haven't been doing well actually these past months really. It's a confusing time in my life right now I feel like I'm losing everyone important to me. Two people I know died this year,Tasha won't talk to me,I'm too hormonal, and I'm having an identity crisis.

I like gaia because I see I'm not the only one with problems! Even church isn't that great because so many christians think that God can just fix all your emotional problems instantly.

Perhaps it would behoove you to move to more sophisticated and civilized regions of the country. I like English lit, myself, but am being practical and going for business and information tech (networking): stuff that can't very easily be off-shored or out-sourced. I have a friend that's moving back into my town and I hope she pursues a masters of doctorate in English lit or art history and teaches at a college or university. Seems that would be the most rewarding thing to do with such a major.
